How a trade works
What the bot does between your request and the verdict.
The journey#
- Intake
The bot reads the card photos (code, value, how many cards) and checks the card against every earlier trade. A card already seen failing, sold, or in flight is held for a person before any vendor sees it.
- Collecting quotes
Every matching vendor group is asked for a rate — by default
USD 100 APPLE/ITUNES(withECODEfor e-codes, one line per denomination for several cards). Each vendor has its own deadline; the window closes early once everyone has answered. - Choosing a vendor
Quotes are converted to one comparable rate (per unit, in your payout currency) and the best profitable one wins, subject to your routing rules. Unprofitable or missing quotes → escalated.
- Sending the card
The card goes to the chosen vendor, captioned with exactly what they were asked. If they re-quote and ask whether to proceed, the bot checks it’s still the best rate first.
- Reading the outcome
An AI agent reads the vendor’s replies. A clear, verified outcome settles automatically (for trusted vendors); anything else — including a vendor redeeming only some cards — comes to you.

When does a trade settle automatically?#
Only when the agent is confident, every piece of evidence it cites is really in the vendor’s messages, an independent second check agrees, the payout matches the agreed rate, and the vendor is trusted (marked trusted, or has earned it). Otherwise the trade escalates with the agent’s reading attached — see Deciding escalations.
