Several cards in one trade
A customer selling “USD 300” may upload three $100 cards. Vendors price that differently — so Kardlane asks the right way.
Send every photo in assets — each card, front and back (up to 20 are read). The bot counts the distinct cards (a card’s front and back count once) and reads each one’s value. When it’s sure, and the values add up exactly to value, vendors are asked one line per denomination:
USD 100 APPLE/ITUNES x 3USD 100 APPLE/ITUNES x 1
USD 50 APPLE/ITUNES x 1Anything less certain — values not printed, or not adding up — and the trade is asked as one card, exactly as before.
Different rates per denomination#
A vendor may price each denomination differently. The trade’s rate is then the value-weighted average — (100 × 1150 + 50 × 1100) ÷ 150 = 1,133.33 — and the working is checked against what the vendor wrote.
Re-quotes after sending#
Vendors often spot several cards themselves and re-quote: “100=1150, 50=1100. proceed?”. If the new rate is still profitable and still at least as good as the other quotes (or no worse than agreed), the bot replies Ok, proceed ✅ (configurable per project) and that becomes the agreed rate. Otherwise it doesn’t reply and the trade escalates with review.requote.
Only some cards redeemed#
If the vendor reports, say, two good and one used, the trade escalates with suggestedVerdict: "partial" and review.partial listing each card. See Deciding escalations.
